Tell me more... 🥾

Lose Hill marks the eastern end of the Peak District's Great Ridge, the classic skyline walk that runs from Mam Tor over Back Tor to this 476m summit. Its top is officially labelled "Ward's Piece" on Ordnance Survey maps, after G.H.B. "Bert" Ward, founder of the Sheffield Clarion Ramblers and a lifelong campaigner for the right to roam: supporters bought him the summit in 1945 to thank him for his life's work, and he promptly gave it to the National Trust, insisting he had never wished to be a landowner. It stands directly opposite Win Hill, the two long tied together by the legend of a Dark Age battle.

Crafted by passionate walkers for hikers who have built memories along the trail, this piece is a timeless tribute to the tales you earned.

This easy to apply iron-on patch is made from yarn made from old plastic water bottles, so is from 100% post-consumer waste. A sturdy patch that you can apply to your walking clothing, kit or onto blankets or material to display your achievements.

We have many more designs and products celebrating beautiful and epic trails, including National Trails and National Parks.
