Pen yr Ole Wen iron-on patch to celebrate climbing the southern gateway to the Carneddau range in Eryri / Snowdonia. Rising to 978 metres (3,209 ft), the mountain is known for its steep ascents and commanding views over the Ogwen Valley.
Its name translates from Welsh as “Head of the White Slope”, a fitting description for this striking and rugged peak.
Crafted by passionate walkers for hikers who have built memories along the trail, this piece is a timeless tribute to the tales you earned.
This easy to apply iron-on patch is made from yarn made from old plastic water bottles, so is from 100% post-consumer waste. A sturdy patch that you can apply to your walking clothing, kit or onto blankets or material to display your achievements.

I was sceptical at first thinking they may be too small or not well defined but i have been blown away by the quality and vibrancy of the snowdon patch. Amazing detail, clear to read, and a very good size overall as well. Easy to apply also, cover with a tea towel or another piece of cloth and iron over the top mine took 25 seconds with the iron but start with 20 seconds as time frame can change depending on what you are applying it to. Overall very, very impressed and I will definetly be buying my patches here the more walks that I complete. 12 out of 10 all round 👌
I absolutely adore the patch. It reminds me of the wonderful time I hiked along this great trails and the fond memories I hold dear. There were some issues with the delivery, but everything was addressed and sorted efficiently. I would definitely recommend this seller to anyone wanting to buy travel patches.
