Rising in splendid isolation from the wild, watery wilderness of Assynt, Suilven is one of Scotland's most distinctive and photographed mountains, its great dome of Torridonian sandstone visible for miles across the far northwest Highlands. Its highest point, Caisteal Liath (the "Grey Castle"), reaches 731m, though the mountain shape-shifts with your viewpoint: a rounded, seemingly unclimbable fortress from the west near Lochinver, and a long, steep-sided ridge when seen from the side. The name is Norse for "pillar", given by Viking seafarers who used its unmistakable profile as a landmark from the sea.

This easy to apply iron-on patch is made from yarn made from old plastic water bottles, so is from 100% post-consumer waste. A sturdy patch that you can apply to your walking clothing, kit or onto blankets or material to display your achievements.
