The National Three Peaks Challenge links the highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis at 1,345m, Scafell Pike at 978m, and Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon at 1,085m) with the classic goal of summiting all three within 24 hours. It's one of the UK's great endurance tests, packing over 3,000m of ascent and around 460 miles of driving into a single push against the clock. This completer patch marks the achievement, with each summit set within its nation's flag: the Saltire, St George's Cross and the Welsh Dragon.
